Do you accept walk ins at your Santa Monica tattoo shop?
Yes! Walk ins are welcome at Kiss Kiss Tattoo, subject to artist availability. For a particular artist or a larger custom project, we recommend booking an appointment.

How do I book a tattoo or consultation?
Use our booking page to choose an artist and an available time. Consultations are free and give us a chance to discuss your idea, size, placement, and price.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Tattoo pricing depends on the artist, design, size, placement, and level of detail. Each of our artists sets their own rates. Send us your ideas and reference images, or book a free consultation so we can discuss your tattoo and provide an accurate quote. Our shop minimum is $150.
What tattoo styles do your artists offer?
Our artists specialize in a wide range of tattoo styles, including American traditional, fine line, black and grey, realism, illustrative, and color tattoos. Browse our artists and their portfolios to find the right fit for your next tattoo.
Can you help me design a custom tattoo or a cover-up?
Yes. Bring an idea, reference images, or a starting point and we’ll work through the possibilities together. For a cover up, send a clear photo of your existing tattoo so we can discuss suitable options.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Bring reference images and an idea of the size and placement you have in mind. Let us know your budget and any questions you have. You don’t need a finished design before you contact us.
How do I care for my new tattoo?
Follow the aftercare instructions your artist gives you, including the timing for removing your particular dressing. Wash your hands before touching the area, clean it gently, and use the recommended fragrance-free aftercare product sparingly. Don’t pick or scratch healing skin.
Can I swim or go to the beach after getting a tattoo?
Wait until your tattoo is fully healed before swimming or soaking it in a pool, ocean, bath, or hot tub. Protect healing skin from direct sun and irritation. Plan beach and pool activities before your tattoo appointment.
What if I have questions while my tattoo is healing?
Contact your artist with aftercare questions. If you suspect an infection or have a concerning reaction, seek medical care promptly and let your artist know.
How do I ask about a touch-up?
Contact your artist with a clear photo once the tattoo has healed. They can assess the result and explain whether a touch up is needed, along with timing and any cost.
